Succession planning - advocacy role

Kia ora and greetings to all readers of this blog pod.

I am now on the wrong side of 75 but fortunately I am still healthy.

However I am trying to downsize some of my commitments so I am currently facilitating my last ever set of advocacy workshops.

I am hoping that someone out there might be interested in taking over these as they do have great value, especially for marginalised groups and Maori who often receive such poor health care.

I have detailed timetables, powerpoints handbooks etc that I am willing to give to anyone interested in facilitating these workshops, introductory and advanced.

They could be adapted to be facilitated on line so they could reach remote communities.

From next year I want to focus almost solely on the voluntary work I am doing as co-chair of Ngā Pou Herenga: the Funeral Guides Collective. You can see more on our website: www.funeralguides.org.

I do hope also to spend more time with my donkeys and in my garden.

My personal email is ruthgerzon@gmail.com. Use that if you are interested in facilitating the workshops or want to get in touch about anything else.

Ngā mihi

Ruth Gerzon
